Endoscopy is a non-invasive procedure that is used as a diagnostic tool for dogs and cats. It allows veterinarians to view internal organs and structures without having to perform open surgery.The procedure helps diagnose conditions such as foreign bodies in the stomach, tumors in the intestines, inflammatory bowel disease, and even parasites!

It involves the insertion of an endoscope, which is a long, thin tube with a camera attached to one end, into the animal's body. The camera allows the veterinarian to observe any abnormalities within the internal organs or structures in order to diagnose and treat illnesses or conditions. This will provide more accurate diagnoses of diseases or conditions that could present with similar symptoms, as well as allow for greater precision when undertaking treatments.
